Thanksgiving Celebration

Thanksgiving Celebration

Welcome back! In wrapping up our Native American Heritage Month, we will discuss how Native American tribes help sellers learn how to survive during the winter months by growing food such as corn and learning how to process it to eat it during the winter months. Then relate this to our Thanksgiving celebration.

Our children will also make their own Pilgrim hat and then compare. Finally, learn some fun facts about turkeys- where are they raised, and what are the names of a female Turkey and a male Turkey?
The kids will use lots of art materials to make their own turkeys. Happy Thanksgiving!
