Little Contribution To Our Community

The Learning Center of South Park

Welcome back! This week ends our three week long project on holidays around the world. So we thought it was most fitting to discuss with our children why it is important to contribute to our community. We will discuss, donating different items as well as volunteering our time to help the people in our community. Then the children will learn about the Ronald McDonald House and how they help sick children in our community. Our children will make special holiday ornaments for those children and thank you cards for the staff at the Ronald McDonald House. Finally, we will discuss what types of things we can donate, from food to clothes to toys that they don’t play with anymore. Tis the season to be giving!
