Welcome to the Learning Center of South Park (TLC). We are a preschool focusing in early childhood education, with services that include full and part time child care.
Our best publicity comes from our parents’ referrals. Talk with the many parents who have allowed us to partner in their child’s care and education. Compare our programs, rates, and quality and then make the right choice for your child.
| Our preschool is just opening but it mirrors the successful program we currently have in place at The Learning Center of Dr. Phillips, located near the South West Library, off the Dr. Phillips Boulevard. TLC of Dr. Phillips has been established over 6 years ago and has become an intrinsic part of the Dr. Phillips community. We are following the High Scope curriculum and maintaining developmentally appropriate practices. This curriculum encourages good decisions making skills and provides the framework upon which age-appropriate learning experiences are built.
Our teachers, although new to our schools have years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field and College Degree or Child Development Associate Degrees. They are experienced professionals who will be continuously trained to ensure academic proficiency and maintain up-to-date knowledge in the areas of health and safety.
We keep our enrollment at 12 in the 1 year old children room with a teacher and an assistant teacher. Classrooms ages 2 to 4 or 5 have 17 children on average with a teacher and an assistant teacher. We have an additional teacher providing extra help when needed. The center is managed by a director and assistant director with the help of a receptionist. A cook is scheduled for most part of the day to cook our meals fresh daily.
Our hours of operations are from 6:30AM to 6:30 PM, Mondays through Fridays. We are located at 7350 Futures Drive. Please call us at 407-363-9325 for a tour of our center and an understanding of our programs. You are welcome to visit our preschool during our busy days. You will enjoy seeing what goes on in our programs and we encourage you to participate in our activities. Spend a few minutes or a few hours in your child’s shoes and appreciate their efforts and accomplishments.
